Boston Latino International Film Festival started in 2001. Nineteen successful years later they continue to achieve their mission of using film to their advantage by creating powerful messages to shatter stereotypes and build a sense of community. This year the film festival is going virtual, with short stories, narrative and documentary style features from all around the globe including Cuba, Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic, to name a few. These films can be watched from September 23-27, but can be pre-ordered beforehand.
