José Guadalupe Posada was the first to start the tradition of printmaking in 1876. His works such as “La Calavera Garbancera” or “La Catrina” are still popular prints used to celebrate el Día de los Muertos to this day. In this virtual event, Carlos Barberena, a self-taught Printmaker, will explain how Posadas influence remains relevant today.
