Found in 2001, Cinema Tropical is a non-profit organization dedicated to presenting Latin American cinema in the United States. The Tropical on Demand series consists of 10 films, including Lejos del Sentido and Todo lo Demás. Both films have received awards including Best Documentary from Havana Film Festival New York (Lejos del Sentido) and the Golden Gate Award for Best Film at the San Francisco Film Festival (Todo lo Demás).
