Gabriel Maia is a contemporary jazz guitar player and composer from Brazil, currently based in Boston. He seeks to develop a sense of community and collaboration in his artistry. His music combines Brazilian, jazz, and blues traditions in an original and innovative way. Maia has performed with renowned instrumentalists such as Debora Gurgel, Marco Pignataro, Vanessa Moreno, and Victor Alcântara, among others.

Having graduated from the Berklee Global Jazz Institute in 2024, Maia has studied under great names in the Brazilian and jazz traditions, such as Mick Goodrick and Danilo Pérez.
