Professor Eguie Castrillo presents Mambo Mania, his long-awaited show at the Berklee Performance Center, with a big band made up of the most outstanding students and professors at Berklee College of Music, and featuring saxophonist Edmar Colón. Castrillo will be taking us back in time to the era of mambo in New York City, with very dynamic and aggressive arrangements that highlight the unique talents of students and faculty.

As a guest artist, the famous saxophonist Edmar Colón will be premiering his original piece dedicated to Puerto Rico. This piece will feature rhythms and drums native to Puerto Rico as well as a very demanding arrangement for the musicians.
